Subject: RE: Replant maturity

I've planted beans in March three times, I've replanted beans in July at least that many times.    Not quite sure of your latitude in Iowa, but I expect you'll be pretty surprised at just how little a change in the maturity rating of the variety means until you have to plant really really late.   And even then, there's a school of thought that shortening that up just shortens the plant growth too much before they set pods and mature.
