Haven’t ran seed firmers for 6 years now and don’t miss them. I’m all notill with a few acres of Striptill some years. My emergence and spacing is fine without them, I am usually planting into ground with plenty of moisture. When I had firmers on they would build up with mud and drag seed sometimes causing uneven spacing.
Anyone ever notice seed firmers impacting spacing?
