NW IL | Have you checked out Nutrien Ag's Eric Snodgras on YouTube? He's an AgTalk favorite. Was a meteorology prof at U of I for 10 years or so before Nutrien got him. 20-30min videos about every weekday explaining short term and long term weather and global forces the affect the US weather pattern.
Short answer, there's high pressure sitting off of the west coast in a way that causes systems to run across the country. It looks like it might move for a bit next week, but then might snap back. | |
