Not sure on your budget but don't cut out the 30 series. 20s were great sprayers but the front ladder and flat fold booms set the 30 series apart. As mentioned, check scissor linkage. Not the worst job to replace pins and bushings but kinda expensive. Try to look at the machine in it's work clothes. Has it seen a grease gun? Check to see how hydraulic hoses look, at that age it could be due for some.
