We try to plant 5-7 days and always have a shorter season ready to go in case it drags out.
First planting is usually 3-4 varieties.
I have tried deeper planting but I don’t think it makes much difference. I think it’s better to get it out of the ground as quick as possible before you have a big rain or crusting.
