ECIL
I notilled into standing stalks 12-18" high first with a Kinze 2000 with splitters and later with a Kinze 3500 with splitters. I went with the rows and drove along the side of the stalks to keep row units off the corn stalks. I preferred going with the rows, other people prefer going at a slight angle. Try both and go with what you like, the main thing is getting the seed in the ground. Set your depth, down pressure, and closing wheel down pressure. Get off the tractor a few times to check and adjust if needed until you get the results you want.
