Right or wrong they are planted. I know we have done some before but I think they were already laid over more like they would normally be if direct seeded in the field. I found the post on here where Maine Farmer recommended planting up to the cotyledon leaves so that''s pretty much what I did. It didn't feel or look right doing that but I did. I think they would have broke off planted shallow unless laid over.
