| Hey Guys, we swathed and baled some wheat hay on about 15 acres a few weeks ago and then this last weekend I went right in with our John Deere 1910 Air cart and 730 Air drill and planted Soybeans on 15 inch spacing. The soybeans were 3,050 seeds per pound. I set the air drill to plant 32 pounds per acre or 97,600 plants per acre. The following evening we got 1.5 inches of rainfall and the lows have been in the 60s and the highs have been in the 80s and 90s with some wind. I planted these soybeans in a Sandy type soil. I was just curious if you guys think crusting could be a issue? Also how long do you guys think it should take for these soybeans to Emerge?
Thank you,
