Let's see if I can equal you on that...
We had a lot of old-fashioned terraces (no tile outlets in mid span; no even-distance berms, etc.), which made for a lot of nasty point rows. We used to plow most everything, and Dad plowed the long rows but I got to plow the points...with a 2-16s plow behind a 1020 JD: back up 60 feet, plow forward 60 feet...then 50 feet, then...you understand, down to the last nib of unplowed land.
And of course I cultivated in all those terraces too. | |
