Thumb of Michigan | I haven't cultivated in years. When we did, we used single rib tires on the tractor and the cultivator. We ran 6 guide wheels on a 12 row 30" cultivator. Set the 3 point loose, the cultivator steered itself independent (to a point) of the tractor. Also used an Orthman single disk stabilizer coulter behind the cultivator.
Our land is flat, and usually no curves if at all possible, however.
If your crop is in already, its too late to set up this year. | |
