I bet if you sold all my plows it wouldn’t add up to 30k. You can buy 8 row 40 bars all rigged up for under $1000. 16’ chiesel plows $1000, rippers 500. Roll over mold board maybe 3k
Plus with the strip till your gonna have to buy chemical so any savings will be quickly eaten by chem bill. Plus since I plow and rotate I can generally just spray roundup. Most guys around here can’t kill pig weeds with anything, just keep them stunted with dicamba over and over.

I tend to not spend money I can’t get back in 1-2 years so not in the cards for me unless I get luck at auction. If I had 1000 acres to row crop I’d probably buy one though. I’ve brain stormed a lot about building a redneck one out of my vast junk pile. But I don’t even have auto steer so it would probably look embarrassing with my light bar.
