The rest of the year, they quietly build massive root reserves, and we tend to notice them less. Clopyralid will kill them when they are actively growing, but not so much when they are semi-dormant most of the year.
I used to relentlessly get rid of every dandelion I saw, but now, I'm not so bothered.
Is it really worthwhile trying to eradicate them? | |
