NC KS | Dual and Status is the no go. Outlook is also a no go. Too much oil is the problem.

Just a couple of notes from recent conversations/questions I have been getting.
DO NOT apply Status to corn UNTIL you have at least 2 full collars (@4” tall).
--- I prefer MSO at 1gal/100 with Status. We have found this to be more effective for weed control and the MSO actually gets MORE of the safener into the plant making is a safer option.
--- DO NOT add any EC formulations of herbicides to the above mix (Outlook, Dual ect…) these are oil based and HEAT up the tankmix. If you are layering in a residual, use Zidua SC at 3-3.5oz.
There has been a fair amount of questions about tankmixing various products with Valor…..be careful here, there is a reason there is only 1.5oz of Zidua in Fierce (Valor and Zidua), and it is NOT recommended to tankmix Outlook or Dual.
Adding Sharpen or Verdict to any other PPO’s (Authority, Valor) is NOT recommended unless you are willing to wait @30 days to plant….it creates an PPO overload.
From a personal observation…. IF you have marestail issues and are not able to utilize dicamba in your tankmix, there is a definite synergism when tankmixing Liberty 32oz and glyphosate 16oz on marestail. | |
