Subject: RE: down pressure on grain drill

Western OK
Is the depth the same behind the tires as it is on the rest? The reason I ask is maybe you need to go a notch deeper in the wheel tracks?

When we had a deere Air drill, we would drive across what would be a representative area of the field, not where you park trucks, and stop, then if you could turn the gauge wheel we'd crank up the pressure a little at a time and recheck until you couldn't turn the gauge wheel.
