Subject: RE: Tennessee weather!

Jackson County, AL

Same here.  Lack 20 acres of corn in 3 fields.  Needed about 3 bags of seed and a couple hours to be headed back home.  Was planting our wettest ground that last Monday so we have a lot that doesn't have corn up.  We wouldn't have gotten finished planting anyway that night, just would have finished the first time.  Have 200 acres of beans planted and they were all up in a pretty stand till about 20 acres stayed under water for a couple days.  Even some higher ground has plants covered by residue that floated and settled 6-8" thick on top of what was a perfect stand.  Replanting those areas is out and two of the worst also appear to have survived hail damage.  Last day I ran a planter was April 29 and it seems like two months ago.
