Looking at a vertical till disk.......need pros and cons.

Since we have gone "conventional" from "organic"..........we a looking at ways to cut our field work.

Looks like the vertical till disk is a likely possibility------ size the trash, smooth the dirt, not compact like a regular disk or field cultivator.

I am GUESSING that size-wise, up to a 36ft could be pulled by our existing tractors-------- 350hp to 450hp.

I like the idea of sizing the trash, without having to use cutters on the head............and cutting slots in the ground for water to fill in, without the compaction.
