I unfortunately bought an essentials kit and was some unimpressed with the gen5 plus and sfrtk that after 10 acres of planting I switched back to my 2630/6000. The dealer I bought it from has been zero help with the issues. The other 2 dealer groups within an hour of me won’t sell an essentials kit or take them in on trade. Wish I would have know that before I bought one… education isn’t cheap….
It's smaller than a 2630/4640 and can't run on a lot of older/random machines. The G5plus is the "full featured" new display. The regular G5 isn't quite.
You don't need to get an essentials kit to get a G5plus, it can still come with lifetime activations. If you want a G5Plus you can get either the essentials kit with receiver and modem OR the regular old G5Plus with permanent activations.
But the smaller G5 universal can't be used in a lot of self propelled sprayers and some older machines and on and on. |
