Most dealers are selling essentials kits because you are getting a Receiver and Modem cheaper than you otherwise would. My dealer said he would not suggest buying one if not for that. Their is a rumor floating around that you can use the display as an extended display, but I've seen mixed reviews on whether that's true or not. As the local AMS pro said, not much to go on and confusing even for him.
