IMHO fulvic acid would be better choice for this application.

Humic is best soil applied or applied with fert application to reduce burn and help chelate and stabilize. We have had some inconsistent kills when including humic in the past with a burndown trip.

I am not a dealer nor am promoting a product but we have used the following for the last several years.
