We have an interplant Kinze with Delta Force and a 20” Kinze with airforce. We have damaged downforce sensors and the planter itself running Delta Force in rocks. I prefer the one with airforce in that scenario. When it comes to really rough ground, wet draws etc. the air seeder works best for that. Spring downforce is okay if you have good soils and/or tilled ground. If planting into tough clay when it’s dry, some type of active downforce works better for me. Need good closing wheels too.
