South Central MN | Would really only have to work it if you need to fix a problem (smoothing it out in your case) otherwise it won't help much. The faster something gets growing in that field after the better I think, especially if it had compaction issues and an in-line ripper was run, since those roots would keep the ground from settling back to how it was before.
I haven't done any deep tillage since the fall of 2016 here, will have to do some shallow stuff this fall to level out a few sprayer tracks that have been around for a while now, hopefully the stuff underneath is firm enough that they don't come back easily. | |
