Check out seed rite plates. Yes it works and prevents from owning a drill. But I didn’t like the fresh corn stalks in the fall are a bit rough on a nice bean planter ( harder on the rubber on depth wheels and press wheels) we went back to drilling cereal rye.

On a side note we weren’t running auto steer so was hard to stay off the row, could go on an angle.

Make sure your rubbers on vac meter covers are good or they will leak rye seed out while planting and bouncing.
