It's always about that rain right on top of fresh planting and application. If you give it a little time...........or no rain happens until roots get deep enough........you'll probably be OK. Planned (irrigation) or unplanned watering in of the herbicide on emerging plants and I'd bet you'll have a wreck. I've seen it enough in other situations.
