Plants damaged by hail are evaluated by the adjuster per NCIS procedure. All companies should use the same procedure. Crop stage does make a difference on the procedure used. Procedures change during the year as the crop grows. The crop may be deferred until fall to determine hail loss.
Bushels produced are not tied to crop hail loss payment.
Bushels are covered by MP insurance. | |
