| Just bought a 96 1760. It came with an older 20/20 monitor. We do not run GPS on the tractor, it is my understanding that the monitor needs wheel speed from the planter in order to calculate accuracy , population, etc. I am not looking for any gps and don’t have any shutoffs. just want to know singulation, accuracy, rows that aren’t delivering, etc. the simple information. My question is can I just use wheel speed sensor on the planter or do I in fact need some kind of gps?
