Northeast Missouri | Making baleage from it now. Pic's are from an area where clover is heaviest...rest of the field is higher percentage triticale. Making a lot of bales, don't know how much tonnage. Problem is that aft er 2+ weeks of rain the triticale has turned to mostly junk (straw)--which is a lot of tons of poor feed. At least the clover will make it a bit better.
Seeded ~ 65 lbs. triticale and 12 clover mix. If I use the clover mix again, I think I'll only plant 50 lbs. or so of triticale with it. | |
