I use insecticide due to seed corn maggot and wire worms. Spread quite a bit of manure which probably leads to more issues.
Also, many guys have no idea what their beans are treated with. A poor performing fungicide and colorant makes treated beans, but may not do much good. But they are colored, so they are treated.
