Interesting thread here. Not that it’s a big deal for a lot of guys with the rain around the country anyway but a decked out planter will run just fine without gps. Don’t yank your markers off like some guys do. I’ll never understand that one. Maybe just a different pride deal to be a BTO with no markers or something but you need weight out there anyway and you have them. Leave them. Then you can drop your marker and go. Need GPS speed for electric drives? Go to test mode, tell it you’re running 5 mph or 6 or whatever you want and then go drive that speed. It will plant. Section control shuts off at the wrong spot? Click the little button that turns it off and use the half disconnect or overlap a tiny bit. It’s definitely possible and still very accurate to plant without autosteer
