Northeast Missouri | I've planted a lot of rye--for both forage and seed, and cover crop--but only a little triticale, and I've never had it get to full bloom.
I thought it ought not get as tall as rye, but after 7+ inches of rain the past few weeks when it should have been cut, the stuff is 6' tall in places...and looks suspiciously like rye.
Seed came from a reputable seed house, so I wonder if somebody made a mistake? Or can trit. really get as tall as rye @ full height?
