Side dress the sulfur, we like sulfur plus on beans instead of AMS. It's cheaper and there is no benefit of the nitrogen to the beans. $7 or whatever your application charge is doesn't amount to much money in the grand scheme of things. Seems like most of the time P & K is cheaper in the fall, more than makes up for application of a sulfur pass in the spring.
