I'm not advocating for no fertilizer applications. I apply fertilizer but at a rate lower than the university removal rates. Been monitoring with grid sampling and occasional Haney and PLFA tests. Farms where I really have the soil biology ramped up I almost think I could get away with very little applied fertilizer because the P &K levels have increased with below removal rate applications.
