Subject: RE: Planting Progress?

Cherokee iowa
Corn went in great started the 10th finished the 14th all up in rows. Beans little over half done. Will have to patch a few holes in the beans when it dries up. 13.7 inches on my farm since march 24th. A lot now running down to the Mississippi. Got more forecasted for tomorrow night. Will be leaving wet spots when it’s fit to go again. Wouldn’t be the first time Ive had hand sowing duties with muck boots. It will all get planted around here might not be the prettiest. Went from earliest best conditions planting to a standstill. Next 10 days will decide if it’s late planting. Which I hear all the time from guys the best yields are the later planted. So it’s shop work and paper work for now. It will dry up someday and I’ll be ready to finish. Hope all can get it in the ground without much machinery problems. UnPlugging runners is not something I like to do in life.
