Have a total nutrient digest test done on your farm and you will likely see there are enough nutrients there to grow crops the rest of your life without commercial fertilizer, the key is in how to harvest those nutrients.


You may be correct but being around some farms that guys did that for 2-4 generations the soils do get depleted eventually and addition of nutrients is needed in some form. Had one farm so depleted I'd say it took 10 years to get decent yields and now 20 years in is a very good farm now. Levels are still low but we are just doing maintenance now.
