Well, that statement would make a great inspirational song from the 1960's, wouldn't it?

In reality, doesn't matter how many of us choose to not take crop insurance in an effort the "change the rules". Rules won't change until they change through Congress and the Farm Bill.
Getting involved with the farm organization of your choice would be more productive.

And no, As long as it is beneficial to our operation, I won't put our farm at a competitive disadvantage on this topic as long as most others are "cashing that check." Not an "excuse", just reality.
