This is the first year we have had any slug issues and I attribute that to the conditions this year. The reason we havn't may be that I havn't sprayed any insecticide in over 5 years. Beneficials were an important part of IPM programs. No one talks about IPM anymore. BT crops have changed our world but we would benefit to refresh ourselves on the old ways of managing insects in crops.
