nc ks | Same here. We have some soil moisture now as we were in a good 1" path last night and had picked up another inch total over the past 3 weeks .25 at a time mostly, but still no pond water. It will happen some day. A good friend of mine 15 miles away still had corn in dry dirt on his pivot corners but he may have gotten 1.5 last night. His mood has been pretty sour understandibly. He caught a 'big' rain last summer we never did but crop stripping hail came with it. Ruined even his irrigated corn fields that he had pumped water all summer on.
And I forgot, weathermen don't know squat. Lol. Most of our rain last night came from a secondary storm front that popped up after the other stuff all went through. It wasn't on any predictive maps at all. We had gotten .30 in the forecast front and actually were pretty happy as even that had been shown to likely split us.
