southern MN
I didn’t get any corn in yet, most have started and a few done.

Drove past a distant neighbors field of small grain this morning, and it reminded my I might be ok. The small grain was very uneven, yellow, and obvious dead spots from the cold and ponding. If small grains struggle with conditions, corn and beans will have a time of it!

Only makes me slightly less hand wringing tho, looking at the forecast and more rains all week. Farmer wants to be farming.

We had such an unusually nice February, was great planting conditions back then! Ha.
