Floyd County, Iowa | I'm thinking that when this solar/wind turbine thing finally passes, the solar panels would be considerably easier and cheaper to remove/recycle/dispose of, and the soil would be less disturbed than removing and disposing of turbines.
Been wrong before, but have seen a few solar farms, and the "traffic footprint" in construction and maintenance looked to be considerably less than turbines. Plus, panels don't stick up in the air ruining the skyline, make noise, or have those red lights flashing at night. Yup, I'm anti turbines, and we have them wanting to build a wind farm all around us. | |
