NE IA | 100% correct. Calling them crooks is an ignorant comment due to lack of understanding the situation and/or knowledge. The main culprits here are inflation like you mentioned and mother nature. The reinsurance providers have had to increase their costs to the mutuals and such and guess what, the savings get passed down to the end of the line which happens to be the property owners. As you mentioned, things will calm down by not having destructive widespread storms for a few years.
Was told Farmers Mutual Hail and Pekin pulled out of the state completely and IMT not writing new policies now or in the near future. Good luck. | |
