Nunn CO
I have very little experience with chemical application, however, I of course here all the talk off RUP resistant weeds.

I just bought a little pull behind sprayer for our backyard (5 acres) that our zero turn mower pulls. First time using it we had a little calibration error with speed, PSI and nozzle adjustments and accidentally applied the rough equivalent of 35-40 oz of 24D per acres. It absolutely hammered the alfalfa and bindweed plants. There is a carpet of Kochia that was roughly 1/8" tall and is now 1/4" and completely unfazed a week later. Am I missing something here or is that just how tough the stuff is? Anything you would consider applying that might be better but would be "safe" around the house with kids, dogs, ducks, etc

I chatted with a neighbor about this and he commented he usually puts down about 8 oz 24d and 2 oz banvill in fallow passes and it works great for him.
