It depends. But as far as population, whether on 30", 15", or anywhere in between, going thought seems to be the same population is used no matter the row width. So if you used 140,000 seeds/acre at 30", would go with 140,000 at 15". The seeds just end up at double the spacing since you have double the rows. For what it's worth, I plant around 140,000 at 15" rows.

Can't help with the sprockets, too many variables. You should be able to look up the manual on Kinze's website and get the planting rate/sprocket charts. For the older stuff, it looks like you need to provide you serial # and it will bring up the appropriate manual for your planter. I'm assuming ground drive, will then depend on the sprockets on the ground drive system. I don't know much about about the straight "2000" models, I have a 2600 pivot fold.
