Southeast WI | If you haven’t experienced long term notill with all the biological activity that comes with it you can’t understand what happens and how the soil behaves. Add rye in and it changes even more. We will run the pluribus on the low wet ground if needed or notill if it’s fit. Strip till leaves the notill environment intact. VT leaves one in nowhere land where it will always be needed to get soil fit.
I say these things because I’ve made this journey since the late 1980’s. We have all soil types except heavy red clay/clay loams like around the Great Lakes. | |
