Pilot Grove, Missouri | 5.5” since Thursday. First rain over 1” since early August? This is western Cooper County. My view is anything past 3” was only good for refilling ponds which have been historically low around here after 2 years of drought.
Lots of crops put into the ground right up to when the rain started will like need replanting. Crops that are up will be okay except for the drowned out low spots and terraces with risers that are slow to drain. | |
