Northwest IA. Near Ft. Dodge | Call the friends with similar planters and ask what notch they are planting in. Set planter on same notch. Get out and dig about 3-5 times. Doubt the friends and yourself. Change depth for 3 rounds. Dig for 1/2 hour. Go past other direction on depth. Plant one round. Dig for 1/2 hour. Set back to where friends are set and realize you only have 1-2 rounds left in field. Leave at that depth for rest of season and wish you had that hour back. |
