Paying a flat rate per acre, on irrigated ground, has nice rye cover crop growing on all 3 fields. Weed suppression as of now is excellent. They are thinking of planting time of around May 15th.
You do not want to “plant green” with milo.
If you can band insecticide with the planter, use a high rate.
If you can’t, add insecticide to the herbicide application that chases the planter. That field is full of things that will eat milo.
