West Central Indiana | Great Plains Ultra-till works very well for me. I like it for seedbed prep in spring, also for sowing wheat/cover crops in the fall. Pulls very easy and can cover a lot of acres quickly. Mixes crop residue well without leaving a bunch of root balls and doesn’t move a lot of topsoil, so losing moisture isn’t a problem. I’ll never own anything with shovels on it though for many reasons. Only things I dislike are the bearings are expensive and if ya have rocks it flips them to the soil surface. | |
