Medicine Mound,TX | I would caution the use of dicamba or 2-4d post. Two times I had a disaster, and tried to save it with 2-4d or dicamba it made the brace roots deform, and grow upward. All the milo fell down when it headed out. I think the weeds would have been a better option.
We spray RU, weedmaster, 3 oz of Valor 30 days before planting, then follow the planter with paraquat, atrazine and dual or outlook. Plant 20" rows and if we get a stand weed control is not a problem. I am a lot warmer than you so I probably canopy sooner. | |
