More importantly, are you patting down , stepping down row, or peeing on it to settle the fluffy dirt on top?

Looked at a lot of plants last year on different operations, very few were planted deep enough. The 2" in tilled dirt becomes 1.5" really quick after a rain.


That's interesting

with "dry beans" the navies all seemed like
they were twice as deep after a heavy rain !!!
