East Central Arkansas | From what I understand and have been doing just plant them just deep enough to hold them in the ground and don't throw dirt to them or scrape away. Dixondale Farms that sells onion plants have some good info on growing onions for the small grower. Mine have been slow to start growing this year. Might be carryover from last fall or even drift from neighboring crop fields but they are beginning to grow some now. | |
