I don’t know how you are equipped planter and sprayer, but This year I applied all N and S upfront about a month ago via sprayer stream bars. However we have planted before applying starter, and then had dry N spread on top several weeks later when milo is 8 inches tall. If you are on 30” rows I suppose you could Y drop, but I have never done that. Not sure what to tell you on split applying.
